Whether you've never touched a roaster, want to sharpen your skills behind the coffee machine, or just want to understand coffee better, there's a course for you here in Auckland. No gatekeeping, no jargon, no pressure. Just open, approachable learning in a proper roastery.

A 90 minute introduction to coffee roasting on a sample roaster. We cover the basics of the process, how to read what the roast is doing, and what good looks like in the cup.
Hands-on. Suitable for complete beginners.

A 90-minute overview of roasting on a commercial roaster. We walk through setup, roast profiling, and what to look for at each stage of the roast.
Hands-on. Some roasting experience helpful but not required.

A full day hands-on introduction to coffee roasting on a commercial roaster. You'll learn about green coffee and how grading works, the roasting process, how to read a roast profile, and what makes a good cup. No experience needed.

BARISTA · HALF DAY
Learn to make great coffee from scratch. We cover the basics of espresso, milk texturing, grind and dose, and coffee machine care.
